The Ring Alarm Set secures your home and keeps you informed on who's at your front door. The alarm system works in combination with the smart Video Doorbell and the Chime via the Ring app. The video doorbell turns on when your security system senses something unusual. The Ring app sends a notification, so you can watch the live footage from your front door. In addition, the chime makes a sound when the alarm goes off. The Video Doorbell also works separately from the alarm system. When someone rings the bell, you're notified via the Ring app and the Chime goes off indoors. The alarm has a 24-hour backup battery, in case of a power outage. The alarm includes a base station and these accessories: a control panel, contact sensor, motion detector, and signal amplifier. Note: you need a Ring Home subscription to use all options like storing and sharing footage. This subscription costs € 3.99 per month.
