This Philips Hue Motion Sensor 2-pack switches on your Philips Hue lights when you walk past the sensor. Via the app, you can connect the sensor to the Hue bridge. You don't need a socket, because the sensor works on 2 AAA batteries. Put it on a shelve or table, or mount it to the wall with the included screw. The light automatically switches on when you walk past the sensor. That's useful for a bathroom, basement, or garage, for example. The light also automatically switches off when the sensor no longer detects motion.
