I purchased this product to be able to use a wired internet connection during video conferencing. Unfortunately, both Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business and Cisco Webex lose their internet connection after ±5 minutes. This makes it immediately unusable for a fixed internet connection in times of a lot of teleworking. I use this in combination with a MacBook Pro 13inch, Quad Core i7 from 2020, on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7.

Got hot, at one point so hot that it stopped functioning, only after cooling it did it again. Unfortunately had to send it back and continue looking for one that has the same functionality but does not overheat.

I was already a bit disappointed that nowadays a dongle is needed to use all ports, but it does make for a nice thin laptop, so I accepted that. When I saw that they were also extremely expensive, I was shocked. I wouldn't recommend going for this one. The single gets extremely hot after a few minutes, it also broke very quickly, causing the image to vibrate and green stripes continuously appear on the screen. Furthermore, the network port (will be from the start) is too big, causing the cable to drop out all the time. In short, a classic bad buy!
