Description

The Google Nest Cam Duo Pack consists of 2 smart security cameras that you can hang both indoors and outdoors. These IP cameras work on a rechargeable battery, so you can even install in a place without a socket. It records in Full HD and has HDR. This gives you a sharp images even against bright backlight. The cameras distinguish between people, animals, and vehicles. In addition, you can easily set activity zones. If the WiFi fails, the cameras have enough internal memory to continue recording for 1 hour. Pair the Nest Cam with other Google Nest products to make them work together. This way, you can watch the camera live through your Nest Hub, for example.

Note: you need a Nest Aware subscription to use all options, such as storing and sharing footage. This costs € 5 per month. You can connect this camera to the Google Home app.

Since a week now the new google nest cam in the house. I also still have the old ones, so of course I put them side by side to compare the quality. The first thing that strikes you is of course the design of the camera. Really a beautiful device that is not ugly on the cupboard and can simply be seen. It also doesn't feel cheap and it's nice and heavy. Setting what happens like this is just as fast as any other google product. The day and night vision of the camera has had a major upgrade. Images are sharper and you can see everything more clearly at night. And communicating via the camera is also a lot better than with version 1. The viewing angle is also nice. If I place the camera in the corner I can see the entire room. A really nice device and ideal for keeping an eye on things.

Great cam, had some trouble linking to account. Finally found out. That the cam only works if it sticks to the wall plate. So be careful, otherwise you won't get it. After five days the battery is empty and then you find out that connecting to the power supply is not possible with the supplied cable, because this is for indoors ... cable for outside 40 € extra. Makes it a lot more expensive than I expected and wanted., when it says for outside and inside you also want the cable to be suitable for outside
