Description
The newest Dyson Cool Formaldehyde - TP09 is an air purifier and fan in one with which you can neutralize dust, pollen, bacteria, and formaldehyde. This air purifier has a catalyst filter which can remove this harmful substance from the air. In this mode, the purifier uses various sensors to measure the air quality and it adjusts itself automatically. The air purifier removes bad odors, allergens, viruses, and particles from the air with the improves 360-degrees HEPA filter technique. You'll be notified when you have to replace these filters. The air purifier turns 360 degrees, so it can provide clean air to the entire room. Via the Dyson Link app on your smartphone, you can easily control the Cool Tower Formaldehyde from a distance.
Note: if the air purifier is turned on 24 hours per day, you need to replace the filters after 6 months.
Improved filter technique
The newest Dyson air purifiers are closed off in 360 degrees following the HEPA 13 norm. This way, no air can escape the purifier before it's purified. The completely airtight HEPA H13 filter system can filter 99.95% of all particles from the air, like ultra fine dust, dust, pollen, allergens, and viruses, as small as 0.1 micron. According to the European Centre for Allergy Research (ECARF), this helps to reduce hay fever, allergies, and asthma symptoms by a lot.

You can stay up-to-date with the air quality in your home with the Dyson Link App. On this smartphone app, you can see the current reports of the air quality and the remaining lifespan of the filters. You can also use the app to control the air purifier from a distance.
Destroy formaldehyde
With the catalyst filter, this purifier removes and destroys formaldehyde from the air. This is a gas which can come from furniture, fabrics, and paint.

I was so happy to pick up the Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde. First I wanted to test it in the bedroom. I have a house dust mite allergy and was very curious if the Dyson would help me to have fewer complaints. I often wake up with a runny nose and swollen eyes. I installed the Dyson in no time. The filters click into the device very easily. And then immediately downloaded the app. Since the dyson is in the bedroom, it is very convenient that I can operate the dyson comb from bed with the app. No more getting up to put it on night mode. After a few weeks of use I can report that I really notice a difference in my allergies. When I wake up I no longer have itchy eyes and I can breathe freely. What a relief...I can smell and taste much better because of this. At night, the Dyson gives off a cool breeze and is virtually silent. After this success I will certainly also use the dyson in the living room. You hear more and more often about the level of the harmful substance Formaldehyde in almost all our household items.

I've had the Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde for a few weeks now and the first impression is very positive. The device comes almost ready for use out of the box, you only have to click in the filters yourself, you do not need the manual for that. Setting up the Dyson App was also quick and easy and once turned on, the air quality in my living room was immediately analyzed.
In auto mode, the Dyson itself constantly monitors the air quality and turns on (or at a higher volume if it is already on) when it detects polluted air, for example during or after cooking. This works very well and it amazes me how much the air in the house is polluted by cooking or baking in an open kitchen.
The design of the device is very chic. It certainly doesn't look out of place in the living room and has a luxurious look. What I also like is that you can set the number of degrees within which the Dyson rotates back and forth for the rotation.
