Description

The AEG FSB52617Z has a digital QuickSelect slider, so you can easily set the duration and energy consumption of the cycle. This way, you can save energy or time. When the dishes are clean, the door opens 10cm, so that the dishes dry naturally. You can easily clean your glasses in this dishwasher, because the bottom rack has SoftGrips that hold the glasses in place. The removable cutlery basket allows you to sort your cutlery and put it back in the cutlery drawer. The dishwasher indicates when the dishes are ready with a green LED light.

Does what it's supposed to do and good buy for a low price

Previous machine was a Siemens, I thought I would try an AEG but is clearly a step back for intensive use. Not a bad machine but all good value for money. After contacting CoolBlue, I was able to exchange for another Siemens without any problems, so really top service as I am used to, chapeau!!

Dishwasher is a bit disappointing, especially for this price

  • Handy racks. The top rack can be raised to accommodate larger plates.
  • Makes a lot of noise
Was delivered neatly on time. But dishwasher for this price is disappointing. Everything just feels a bit weak and does not function quite as you would expect from an AEG. I had a Bosch and regret not paying just a little more for something better that you really enjoy.

Good result, but understand why it was heavily discounted.

What is striking is that the machine is not very solid in terms of build quality. The materials have really been cut back. Feels all tinny, bit flimsy. Installing it yourself is quite a job. There isn't really a manual included, and the videos on Youtube don't apply to this model. So you have to pay attention to how it is because it is not standard. I had to extend the drain hose, because it was half a meter short (so measure that in advance). The layout ... well, a matter of getting used to if you have had a different model for years. All in all, fairly flexible, as long as you don't try to put in dishes for a mega-family. The options with regard to the duration of the programs are nice, from super fast but inefficient to long-lasting but totally eco. The washing result is excellent, as is the drying result. The latter is also due to the door that opens automatically at the end of the program, so all vapor disappears. You can set that differently, by the way, but to do that you need a kind of math knot. The instructions for that are completely useless and badly translated, so prepare yourself for an adventure through all the menus. Ditto for setting water hardness and cleaning program.
