Polar Pacer Black

Before this I had a Garmin Venu where I could personalize my running workouts or get running training from a coach, which you cannot do with this smartwatch. It is a good smartwatch for athletes who do not want too many bells and whistles, just a watch that wants to track and improve their sports performance

Had bought the Polar Pacer in September, I liked it so much that I switched to the Polar Grit X Pro after 3 weeks, if the surplus? of the Polar Grit X Pro, I can really recommend the Pacer. Heart rate sensors of the Pacer are flat instead of irregularities in the Polar Grit Pro X, irritates the skin. NB Do have an old velleke (75 years). Polar Grit X Pro is more robust and larger, more difficult to keep in place, therefore frequent poor sleep measurement. Have now bought a Polar Pacer again! Is not just a running watch, cycling, walking, etc. TOP !!!

I bought it purposefully to record my running sessions. So do not wear it except during sports. This means the battery lasts a long time. He does registration very well. Polar records cadence differently (actual cadence / 2). So if your cadence is 180, the Polar Pacer registers it as 90. Very confusing and illogical, but after digging deep into the manual I figured it out. That said, the registration still appears to be quite accurate after I manually count and keep my count next to the registration. An XL strap is also included. Unfortunately with an incorrectly mounted pin so it does not fit. Must be a factory error. Screen is easy to read, four fields per screen and multiple screens can be set. The Polar app is less intuitive. Programming a running schedule is not convenient and cannot be edited on the mobile, only in the browser. It's a matter of getting used to it. Polar keeps the data private, and you must agree to share that data in order to use all the features you paid for. That is not something you know before you buy such a watch, but only when you register and create an account. For now quite happy with this watch, it does what it's supposed to do if you only use it for running.
