Krups Evidence One EA895E

I have owned this device since May 1, 2020. Initially a beautiful device with some limitations after a while. Of course he makes good coffee. Of course he makes a lot of noise when grinding the coffee beans. Those are all things every espresso machine does. You do have to empty the drip tray and the tray with the coffee cookies very often. After about 8 cups of coffee, so often but you get used to it. But what I do find a problem is that there are regular minor malfunctions. If the plug is removed from the socket and plugged in again a few minutes later, the fault has been resolved. However, last week an unsolvable problem. Machine enters an "Automatic Maintenance" program. Then you enter the "Filling the Machine" mode. This should take 15-20 minutes. The machine is flushed. After 1.5 hours of flushing I pulled the plug from the socket. Reconnected after 5 minutes. After another 1 hour of flushing, I pulled the plug again. The machine is now presented for repair. This can take up to 3 weeks. Now the problem how do I keep my milk fresh. I hope that my faith in this Krups EA895E is not damaged because it costs enough..

A device for me. It's a purchase for a while, but for now the right choice

Switched to the Krups after our Philips 2200 broke down within a year and a half (top service Coolblue, received full purchase price back!). What a difference this! With the Philips you could stop your conversation during the grinding of the beans, the frothing of the milk and the brewing of the coffee because of the noise, with the Krups this is much less, you only hear the grinding a bit. Maintenance is not yet fully done, I have it too short. But it turns out that it is only a cleaning tablet and not manually cleaning, drying, greasing the entire brewing group, etc. The coffee grounds and water collection tray are easy to clean, the device gives an automatic message for this (note, after removing the grid of the drip tray, the top must also be removed). can be clicked off the drip tray itself, it seems to be stuck, but you can simply click it off with some dexterity so that you can wash the tray properly). The coffee is delicious and the milk foam is and remains really thick milk foam (with the Philips this collapsed after a minute). All in all, highly recommended!
