Description

The Vortex Diamondback 10x50 binoculars are suitable for hunting and traveling. The HD glass provides an optimized image with high resolution. This way, the colors remain lifelike and the image is sharp from left to right without chromatic aberrations. Thanks to the lens diameter of 50mm, a lot of light comes in. The binoculars have an exit pupil of 5mm and a twilight factor of 22.4, so you can observe subjects after sunset. You can also view a herd of deer in the dark. Anti-glare coatings provide clear vision and reduce reflections so that you can follow your subjects undisturbed. Thanks to the seals that keep out water, you can use these binoculars without problems in bad weather.

Great binoculars for this price.

  • Clear picture
  • 8x magnification is usually sufficient in the woods
  • Stuck in the hand
  • Slightly larger in size due to magnification and brightness.

Not too heavy and with the comfortable carrying strap it is no problem to take the binoculars with you for longer trips. The binoculars are also shockproof and a rain shower is no problem either.

Optics are very disappointing.

  • Significant distortion on the outside of the image: straight lines become curved (fishbowl effect)

This viewer was to replace a porro prism 7x50 that was more than 50 years old. Then you expect the image to be better, but no. It is true that the image is sharp and clear for the most part and the magnification and angle of view are slightly better. On the other hand: the distortion at the edges and the blurry bottom part of the image. The latter may be caused by the connection of the eyepieces to my glasses. No problem with my old 7x50. Viewer returned. I want to make progress with my purchase...
