Marshall Monitor III ANC Black

I find the Marshall Monitor III ANC headphones stylish thanks to their leather details. The sound quality is good and they have active noise canceling. They do feel somewhat flexible because the earcups can swivel both forward and backward.

Comfortable earcups The earcups feel very soft and don't press against my head. This makes the headphones comfortable to wear. When I wear them on long journeys, I experience minimal pressure points. I find the headband a bit narrow. The headphones don't sit very securely on my head. When I tilt my head forward or backward, I feel like they slip off quite easily.

Compact foldable design I find the headphones very convenient for travel. They're foldable, making them easy to fit in my bag, for example. They also take up very little space in the included carrying case. I swivel the earcups forward or backward, and then fold them inward. Because the earcups can swivel in both directions, I find the headphones feel a bit less secure.

Easy to connect and operate

The earcups have small control buttons. I use the gold-colored button to turn on Bluetooth and connect it to my phone. There are also two black buttons. The button on the left side turns active noise canceling on and off. On the right side, there's a manual button that I assign to my own functions. I use it to fast-forward a track. I adjust the sound output in the Marshall app. I choose from handy presets. This way, I can determine whether I want to hear the bass louder or the midrange. For house and techno music, I choose a harder bass, while for songs with more vocals, I intensify the treble. By increasing the treble, I hear the vocals more clearly. I also set my own preset in the app. I adjust the treble and bass using various sliders.

Good sound quality and noise canceling

I think the sound quality of these headphones is good. The sound is full and balanced. I don't hear the high or low notes stick out, and the vocals are clearly audible. When I turn on the noise canceling, I hear very little of my surroundings. I turn the volume up halfway and hear almost nothing of the people talking around me. At a lower volume, I sometimes hear them talking or laughing. I like to isolate myself from my surroundings because I travel a lot by public transport. This way, I'm not bothered by other passengers.
