Huawei Watch GT5 Gold 41mm

I was able to test this watch for over 2 weeks, which I did with great pleasure. To start with, it is a beautiful specimen and I have also received many compliments. It offers a number of possibilities and even as a non-athlete I enjoyed the health possibilities. The Health app is very extensive and motivates me to exercise. The workouts are clearly displayed on the watch and, among other things, the heart rate monitor is accurate (tested together with my Apple Watch and they matched each time). After a workout you get an extensive report, what your recovery time is, if running/walking outside the route (very accurate) etc. I am really very pleased with the many possibilities and tracking in the field of sports and health. And that together with the design makes this watch a real all-rounder. The variety of countless watch faces makes it all even better. Integration with iOS is fine and I have not experienced any problems with it. The only thing is that you have to keep your phone close otherwise the Bluetooth connection is disconnected quite quickly. That is not the case with the Apple watch.

The downside is the Milanese strap. This strap completes the design. But despite the strong magnets, I still have to tighten the strap several times a day. This is at the expense of the wearing comfort, which is a shame. And I think it is a shame that you cannot indicate for all apps whether or not you want to receive a notification. Finally, the battery life - this is fine. I did not make it to 7 days (5 on average), but that is much better than charging daily. This way I can wear this watch on a weekend away where I would always wear a normal watch before.

I have been really surprised over the past 2 weeks about what this watch can do in combination with the looks. With this watch you do not compromise on anything. In fact: the sporty look of many wearables is a thing of the past - you can really show off with this beautiful watch!
