I thoroughly enjoy an evening of binge watching with the LG OLED65B42LA. The bright colors and strong contrast provide realistic images and an immersive effect. Realistic colors and contrast I notice that the image quality of this television is very good. The colors pop off the screen and the contrast is high. This gives a very realistic image, which allows me to enjoy my favorite series with full attention. The OLED screen consists of millions of pixels that all light up and dim individually. This makes black images really black. This ensures the high contrast. However, during a sunny afternoon I notice that the brightness is not that high. For example, a dark scene will not be clearly visible. That is why I recommend not placing this television in an overexposed room or next to a large window. Sleek design The television has a very thin screen, which gives it a sleek and modern look. This makes it a stylish addition to the interior. Due to the thin design, I hang it tightly against the wall with a wall bracket. I like that the screen is well filled and the TV has almost no edges. This makes me even less aware that I am watching television, so I enjoy what is on the TV more. Built-in Chromecast and Airplay This television has both AirPlay and a Chromecast. This way I can quickly stream series and films to the TV from my phone. This television has both AirPlay and a built-in Chromecast, so that is ideal. This means I no longer waste time in the menu and can watch my favorite series on the big screen in no time. MagicRemote The OLED TV comes with an LG Magic Remote instead of a standard remote control. The Magic Remote fits comfortably in your hand and is pleasant to use. I find it useful that the smart buttons take me directly to my favorite streaming services, such as Netflix and Disney+.

For an entry-level model in Oled, this is a beautiful device! The clarity is very good, and will probably be better with a more expensive model, but you can spend that extra price on a soundbar. We are super satisfied!

I was allowed to test this TV for a few weeks. During this test I really enjoyed the quality of this TV. Even though it is the entry-level OLED. The brightness is more than sufficient and the colors and contrast are very good. It is very reflective. But in our living room with no direct sunlight on the TV, the brightness is sufficient. Especially in the dark, it is a real experience to watch. I can watch all my favorite movies again with a new experience. Almost all the apps you use are also already installed on the TV. Sound from the TV is fine if you don't care much about it. But adding a soundbar will make your experience better.
