Bought to replace a QNAP TS-453 model. The TS-464 is significantly faster, making it more pleasant to work with. Migration was a bit exciting, but went smoothly. Turn off both devices, install HDDs from the old one in the new one, turn on and you're done. This model has a plastic casing and plastic HDD trays. I would have preferred metal ones for reasons of reliability / grounding / static dust. In principle, it is quietly running in a cabinet, so there is no risk of physical damage. The previous one has been on 24/7 for more than 10 years without any problems.
