Philips STH7020/20

The Philips STH7060/80 quickly refreshes and dewrinkles my clothes. It is easy to use because of the large adjustable head and the included StyleMat.

When I open the box, the first thing I see is the StyleMat. The clothes steamer is rolled up in this, together with the safety glove. This way you immediately have a kind of bag to take it with you. So handy. I unpack the clothes steamer and also see the two water reservoirs. You get a small and a large one. Depending on how much you steam, you make your choice. Or you can fill them both and steam for an extra long time. I fill the large reservoir under the tap. The water reservoir clicks onto the steamer with ease. It doesn't take long for the clothes steamer to heat up. I really like this. I have a shirt with quite a few wrinkles, so I grab it.

I use the StyleMat as a surface for steaming. First on the table, so that I steam the shirt with extra pressure. The large steam head makes steaming easy, because I can steam the entire shirt with just a few movements. I also notice that a lot of steam comes out of the head, which makes wrinkles disappear quickly. I am pleasantly surprised at how neat the shirt looks after a few minutes of steaming. Thanks to the different steam settings, I can choose how much steam comes out of the device. Then I also try the StyleMat on a clothes hanger, which makes it easy to freshen up a hanging piece of clothing. Handy, hanging steaming with some extra strength. Because the head of the steamer is adjustable, I can easily adjust it. This way I steam just as well vertically as horizontally.

I try the supplied glove to give my hands extra protection while using the clothes steamer. The glove is not very comfortable, which also makes it less easy for me to steam. So I prefer to leave the glove out. If I am careful not to place the steamer too close to my hands, I do not feel the hot steam.
