Description

With the mop attachment of the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine, you can remove dirt and stains from your floors with 1 movement. The 300ml water tank continuously keeps the mop attachment wet, so you always use a fresh mop. With a full tank, you can clean floor surfaces up to 110m2. Use the motorized crevice tool to vacuum carpets as well. With 240 airwatts of power, you can remove dirt from deep in the fibers. You can vacuum up to 60 minutes on a single charge. Thanks to the Piëzo sensor, you can read exactly how much dirt you vacuum on the screen. The soft floor attachment has a built-in light beam. This way, you can see where the dirt is even better. You can easily empty the 0.77L dust cup in the trash can. And with the cone-shaped brush, you can effortlessly remove pet hairs.

Good vacuum cleaner, bad mop

  • Dyson is always good
  • Battery life
  • Lots of accessories
  • Mop function far below par
As a vacuum cleaner it is a 10, but as a mop it is really dramatic, small water reservoir and the dirty water part leaks when it is full. The best tip for anyone planning to buy the submarine is just don't do it and buy the normal v15 and buy a separate mop, it is absolutely not worth the money. You could do something fun with the money you save

I almost wish I hadn't bought the submarine; we were shocked when we saw how much dirt the machine both sucked up and mopped away. And that while our robot Truus vacuums at least 4 times a week. The submarine is super manoeuvrable, nice if you want to be able to mop all corners well for a long time. A big advantage compared to other vacuum cleaners with a mopping function is the separation of the clean and dirty water. This was confirmed again when emptying the dirty water reservoir! The noise level is also pleasant; really much quieter than we are used to. The special hair brush cleans the couch well, removes dust, sand and dog hair well. The battery life is certainly fine when using the eco mode. And as far as I'm concerned, the cordless character is also an absolute plus! The only downside is the weight and the center of gravity of the machine. But that will certainly take some getting used to.
