Image quality
The Air 3 has both a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. Thanks to the 24mm focal length, you can capture a wide image with the wide-angle lens. You can capture wide landscapes, for example. The telephoto lens has a 70mm focal length. You can zoom in on a faraway subject with this, such as a cow in the meadow. You record in 4K resolution at 60 fps, which brings razor-sharp video images. Record in D-Log for a larger dynamic range and more editing options. You take 48-megapixel photos, so they always have lots of details. When you crop them, the photos remain sharp.
Flight time
With a fully charged battery, you can fly for up to 46 minutes. There are 2 extra batteries in the Fly More Combo, which you extend the flight time by 92 minutes with. Thanks to the obstacle detection sensors, you can fly without worry. The sensors detect obstacles on all sides and automatically fly around them. This reduces the chance of a collision.
Law and legislation
From 2021 onward, new European drone regulations apply. This means that drone pilots must register themselves if they own a drone that weighs more than 250g or has a camera. You receive an operating number that needs to be attached on your drone and be clearly visible. This drone weighs more than 500g, so you need a basic drone course for this.
