Cooking help from the app I decide to get the most out of the airfryer and download the app on my phone. Pairing does not take long and is easy. In the app I find a recipe for banana bread. The app tells me exactly which ingredients I need and helps me step by step during the preparation. After I pour the batter into the baking accessory, the app sends the baking settings to the airfryer. Handy, because that way I no longer have to think about the correct baking temperature and time. From the couch I can immediately see in the app how long it will take until the bread is baked. The bread comes out of the airfryer wonderfully crispy and at the same time creamy. I am positively surprised!

Different cooking levels I use the airfryer not only for baking bread, but also for other meals. For example, I can choose from 16 different cooking functions, so that I can prepare different dishes. For example, I have the choice of frying, roasting, defrosting, warming up or fermenting. Very nice, because an oven, deep fryer or microwave is now a thing of the past.

Easy cleaning After dinner I wait until the airfryer has cooled down. I clean the separate parts in the dishwasher or I clean them easily with a washing-up brush. I put the baking accessory back in the basket, so that I can easily find it for my next dish.

That's fine if you have a lot of airfry experience and know what temperature and time you need or because the preparation method is stated on the packaging of the dish or in the recipe you use. I like settings via the Philips NutriU app because you can search by dish, menu, preparation or ingredient there. The right settings are ready with the dishes, so you don't even have to think for yourself or figure out what to choose. Once you have found the dish, you can switch on the airfryer with 1 push of a button via the app. You can take your phone with the app to another room or read a book in the garden and you will be kept informed via the app. You can also pause, resume, adjust and stop the preparation via the app. In addition to the many recipes, the Philips NutriU app also contains nutritional tips, cooking tips, information and tips about your device and accessories and fun blogs. The Airfryer has a nice large capacity for our family of 4. It is easy to wash and the parts can even be put in the dishwasher. Despite the fact that the Phillips XXL Connected Airfryer is a bit large and unwieldy, we think it is a nice design. We also use it a few times a week now. That is why it has been given a permanent place in the kitchen. Because it is such a nice device and the Philips NutriU app makes it really fun and easy - even for us as airfry beginners - we have already experimented more with the airfryerPhillips XXL Connected Airfryer in the last 2 weeks than we did with our old one in the 4 years. device. We have now prepared larger snacks, fresh thick fries, bread, apple pie, biscuits, dried fruit and more in the Airfryer. Everything is nicely cooked, airy, crispy, evenly and quickly heated and cooked. The bread maker is already out the door, the food dryer can be removed from the wish list and we hardly need the energy-consuming oven anymore. We do want to purchase a number of Philips accessories for the airfryer, for example for grilling and baking. Our teenage sons also found the airfryer great and easy to operate. It is precisely the digital and ease of use that appeals to this younger generation. So we have good hopes that they will now start air cooking as well.
