It is a large TV… very large with a beautifully sleek design. We hung it on the wall with a strong TV bracket. Installing the TV is quite easy: a step-by-step plan helps you get through the installation process. This is easy and logical. The TV can immediately be adjusted to your personal preference, both in terms of image and sound. An AI service helps with this. This is available for all kinds of settings and can be turned on and off for different parts if desired. Our TV is connected to the internet cable, everything runs smoothly. The menu structure always takes some getting used to on a new TV, but it is clear and clear. The 'mouse pointer' of the remote control works very easily, but does take some getting used to. This can be set from very small to very large. The image is crystal clear, of course depending on the source. Even in bright light, everything remains quite visible. Black tones are fine (for us). It's a 4K TV. Older images therefore look slightly less sleek (also due to the size of the TV). The refresh rate of 50 Hz does not cause any problems. During sports broadcasts such as football, the image remains sharp, there is no delay in the ball, for example: something we saw with an older TV. Sound quality: clear and intelligible, but sounds a bit hollow. We always had a soundbar and are going to connect it again. There are 6 pre-programmed shortcut buttons to streaming services on the remote control (Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Rakuten TV, LG channels, Alexa). The only ones we use are Netflix and Prime. We have not yet checked whether this can be adjusted. Unfortunately, the Ziggo Go app cannot be installed. The KPN app does, as well as the Tele2 and DeltaTV app. When a game console is connected, the menu structure changes to a 'game' menu and screen settings are automatically adjusted. For example, the TV automatically switches to 60 fps. An additional dark room option is available during gaming: the image can be dark, darker and darkest. Games such as Formula 1 and football do not suffer from delays. The image remains smooth. You can also opt for so-called multi-view while gaming. For example, you can watch YouTube and the game side by side. Multiview is also possible when watching TV: for example, TV channel on the left, YouTube on the right. It is not possible (as far as we have seen) to watch two channels at the same time, unless the second channel is streamed via the internet app. Multiview is also possible with picture-in-picture. Watch TV at the back (large screen) and watch YouTube or do some web surfing in a small window.

The65QNED816RE is a beautifully designed device. The leg is nice and flat so that a soundbar can be placed on top. There is room for cable management at the back of the leg, so you don't have to carry spaghetti behind your device. The connection options are more than sufficient with this device. There are 4 HDMI 2.1 connections, 2x USB 2.0 and RJ45 Ethernet port and a digital audio jack. The main thing it's all about is of course the screen. When the device is turned off, it is a dust magnet with the glossy screen. But when it is on it is a nice sharp and colorful screen. Everyone has their own preference in terms of colors, and the device has enough setting options so that it can be adapted to everyone's preference. The only drawback to the screen is the backlight bleeding on the black screen during startup. When colors are in the picture, this is no longer visible. The television's menu is user-friendly and easy to operate and everything is easy to find. The included remote control, the magic remote, is also designed to be user-friendly. This can be used as a pointer, but also in the old-fashioned way with buttons. It is also possible to set this remote control for your TV decoder so that you can control everything with 1 remote control. The sound is just fine. If you want to be more "in" the sound, a soundbar is recommended
