Description

The Siemens WU14UT20NL (iQ500) washes very energy-efficiently with an A energy label. You save an average of up to € 220 during the lifespan. The drum with an 8kg load capacity fits large and small loads of laundry. Via the touchscreen, you can choose one of the 15 wash cycles. For your gym clothes and hiking pants, you choose the special outdoor cycle. Want to wear your dress shirt tonight? Shorten the wash cycle with varioSpeed. The self-cleaning detergent drawer rinses after every cycle, so no soap rests will remain. With a noise level of 72dB, you're less bothered by loud noises. That is why, the washing machine is also suitable for a smaller room.

Excellent washing results for a good price

It works great even though I've only had it a week. I am very satisfied with the washing result. The noise level is excellent for the place where I have it, namely in the technical room of a new apartment adjacent to the kitchen / living room. With the door closed you can hear it a bit during the spin cycle, but it is not disturbing at all when watching TV or the like. I don't really sort, so all kinds of fabric go in at the same time. The mix/fast program is too short, so I use anti-crease with good results. I am satisfied. I do think it contains a lot of programs that cannot really be adjusted and where only a very small load is allowed while it is an 8 kilo drum. That is not necessary for me and expect to never use many. I haven't been able to find the delayed start yet, just go through the manual for that. Another downside is the door. When locked, it doesn't feel very solid and there seems to be some play between the door and the machine. Hopefully the seal is and remains good enough to stop leaks. At the end of the program, water (with detergent) remains on the inside of the glass and in the bottom of the door opening. So drops on the floor and laundry wet again when taken out. Easy to solve with a cloth at hand, but still a downside.

Very nice washing machine, I wash a lot of towels because of my work, and a lot goes into the drum. But small washes are also fine
