Description

With the De'Longhi Magnifica Start ECAM220.22.GB, you can brew an espresso, a coffee, and a double espresso from freshly ground coffee beans. You can choose your cup off coffee via the clear, intuitive display. There are icons on it, so it's easy to use. On the display, you can also adjust the strength per cup of coffee from mild to strong. Do you like to switch it up with pre-ground coffee beans? Thanks to the separate compartment for ground coffee, you can also make a cup of decaf coffee. With the steam wand you can easily turn your espresso into a cappuccino. To do so, you froth the milk yourself. You can also use the steam wand for hot water or a cup of tea.

When the coffee machine malfunctions, De'Longhi offers service at home in the Netherlands and Belgium with their own mechanics.

Its predecessor, also a DeLonghi, was trouble-free for 10 years, but started to show defects. You will not repair such an old device. That's why we went for its successor, which is essentially the same, only now works via touch keys. The device works as we expect, tasty coffee, slightly more settings for your personal coffee, easy to set if you take the time to read the clear and short manual. We always froth milk using a separate device, but we also tried out the steam wand. It worked great, frothed well, nice hot temperature. And cleaning is extremely easy, also an important point. If this device also lasts another 10 years without any problems....
