This Whirlpool washer dryer combination is suitable for washing large loads of laundry. The non-stop programs work easily, so I can easily wash and dry in one go. My clothes are still a little damp after drying, but are dry enough to store. Thanks to the steam function, I can freshen up worn clothes and the machine keeps my laundry fresh after the end of the program. First impression The first impression I get from this Whirlpool washer dryer combination is that it is a clear device. There are enough different programs for all my laundry. When I turn the control knob to the correct program, it feels firm. I feel a clear click when changing the programs. I personally like that, because my visually impaired grandmother can also use the washing machine by counting the clicks. The drum is very spacious. This way I easily wash a large load of bedding. The washer dryer combination has the FreshCare+ function. This keeps the drum moving for up to 6 hours after the wash cycle, so that my clothes stay fresh. Wash & Dry I use the Wash & Dry 45' program to wash my 2 work shirts. With this, my laundry is not only clean, but also dry after 45 minutes. This way I quickly washed my favorite shirt for work or an appointment. When I pour the detergent into the drawer, I notice that it is a bit loose in the machine. I turn on the program and after 45 minutes my shirts are clean and dry. My clothes still seem quite damp, but when I let the shirts air out, they are almost cupboard dry. I do think that the drum is quite hot inside. I would tumble dry my delicate clothes less quickly. Manual non-stop program For my larger loads of laundry, I set a manual non-stop program. I turn the knob to the cotton program and select the drying function on the display. With a few clicks, I set the degree of dryness. The disadvantage is that I can only dry a maximum of 6 kilograms, so that is also the maximum load for the washing program. If I want to wash more than dry, I set the drying program separately later. Steam Refresh When I take a musty T-shirt out of the closet, I freshen it up with the Steam Refresh program. Thanks to this program I don't have to wash my clothes first. When I turn on the program, the drum gently spins my shirt. The steam removes the musty smell from my shirt in 20 minutes. That saves me a lot of time. However, the shirt is quite damp after steaming. So I have to dry it for a while.
