With the spacious and stylish SMEG FAB30 refrigerator with freezer compartment, my products stay fresh for longer. The door alarm prevents my products from heating up and air circulation keeps all my groceries equally cool. Layout of the refrigerator We are a family of 4 at home and I can easily place my weekly groceries in this model. The freezer compartment is behind the top door. If you often freeze your food or buy a lot of frozen products, the space is a bit too small. I can easily open the bottom door, requiring almost no force. Behind the shiny, light door is the spacious cooling compartment. I place my cartons of milk upright and I can fit about 4 in a row. There is room for 5 bottles of soft drinks in the door and I place my smaller groceries such as a jar of pickles in the middle rack. The top rack in the door has a flap that closes the rack. This means I am not afraid of my eggs falling out of the refrigerator. The refrigerator has a total of 2 removable shelves. I move a shelf up a bit to make more space. The shelves are light and slide easily into the different shelf heights. Door alarm While I'm putting away my groceries, the refrigerator beeps and the light flashes after a little more than 1 minute. The refrigerator then indicates that it has been open for too long and that my groceries are heating up. I think this is a very nice feature. Also useful if I accidentally didn't close the refrigerator properly. Fruit and vegetables stay fresh longer I put my fresh groceries, such as apples and peppers, in the vegetable drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator. The drawer underneath is a bit higher. This is where I put my meat and fish. Both drawers have a Life Plus zone. The temperature here is lower than in the rest of the refrigerator. This keeps my tomatoes fresh longer. Air circulation After a while I feel whether my groceries are properly cooled. The cartons of milk from the bottom shelf and my butter from the top shelf feel equally cool. This means that the air circulation works well. So it doesn't matter where in the refrigerator I put my groceries. Design SMEG is of course known for its design. I was very curious to see what this would look like in real life. This positively surprised me. The chrome handles really give the refrigerator that retro look. And I also find this on the inside.

Previous Smeg refrigerator has been used for 21 years, so the choice fell on it again.
