This ETNA induction cooktop cooks very well. I connect the built-in hob easily, thanks to the normal plug for 1 phase. The appliance does make noise during cooking. Connect easily I am replacing my gas hob for this ETNA induction hob. This model works on 1 phase. This means that the hob works with a normal plug in a standard socket. I find this very handy, because it means I don't have to convert my meter cupboard. With this cooktop, I can easily switch from gas to induction. In addition, I think the hob looks sleek and minimalist in my kitchen. Cooking for the first time Since I have always cooked on a gas hob, I am curious about the induction hob. It immediately strikes me how nice cooking with this model is. As soon as I put a pan on it, it is hot in no time. I can easily adjust the settings per zone. This induction hob does have less power, for example when all burners are on the highest setting. This is normal for a 1-phase hob, because the device cannot consume more power. Fortunately, it is not often that I need all the burners on the highest setting. Makes sound I do notice that the hob makes more noise during cooking than a gas hob. For example, I hear the device turning on and off all the time. This is also normal for a 1-phase hob. I am less bothered by this when I set the settings of the cooking zone higher. Handy timers I also set a timer for each cooking zone. Once the timer has expired, the hob will automatically switch off the zone. I think this is a very nice feature. As a result, I don't count with just one kitchen timer and I don't start an extra timer on my phone. Easy cleaning I regularly make a mess during cooking, due to grease splashes or a pan that accidentally boils over. After cooking, the hob indicates which zones are hot. When this message disappears, I can easily clean the hob. This makes the hob look neat in my kitchen again.
