Canon PIXMA TS5150 Black

I'm not very happy with it. Get a lot of error messages and he's often messing around as I call it. Prepare, make noise, make noise again, mess around and only then print. All in all, it sometimes takes a long time for me to print a printout and it regularly gives an error message, no connection to the printer. Malfunction. Error. I think I have a bad execution.

Printers are never really fun. They are ugly, big and bulky. You'd rather not have them, but you have to. Especially with school-age children who have to hand in papers. In that case, you don't spend too much money and you end up with the Snow White from Canon. But no matter how clean Snow White was, this printer won't get a prominent place in the living room. Hidden behind a door he will have to do his job. Because well ... it is and remains a printer.

This thing promises to be a solid piece of equipment without any clutter. You can't really give it 5 stars. Not for anything. He's too ordinary for that. But it's too decent for 3 stars. Yes. That's it. The Canon TS5151 is just that solid printer that won't let you down. Finished. Print quality is not professional, but just okay. The printer is relatively small, so it's fairly easy to store in cupboards so that your view doesn't spoil. And thanks to the paper tray, your paper won't protrude from the back, making it even more compact.

It is crazy to name 2 cartridges as pros and cons. Yet. Psychologically, it seems cheaper to buy ink that way. For 40 euros you already have a completely new load, where you have to pay at least 70 euros for a printer with CMYK cartridges. I said psychic benefit because in the end it all depends on how long the printer will last with the color cartridge. You may need to replace it sooner and it will still be more expensive. Time will tell.

Furthermore, I am convinced that Canon will simply be more reliable than Epson. Where with Epson prints sometimes didn't come out before you had turned the printer off and on, this Canon just doesn't seem to have any trouble printing something when it receives a job. Time will tell here too, but the first prints give hope that we won't have all those problems anymore.

Printer connects to PC but is very slow to start up, print, connect to PC; sometimes waits for minutes before the printer finally boots up. Often the print job is started but for some reason PC and printer mention that the data is being printed, but nothing happens...
