Description

The Makita VC2512L is a construction vacuum for the professional handyman. You can vacuum both wet and dry dirt with the 18L capacity. The vacuum only lets through up to 5% of dust and is suitable for vacuuming harmless substances. Thanks to the built-in socket, you can also connect tools to the vacuum. Are you working with a sander? The vacuum automatically turns itself on, so your workspace remains dust-free. The VC2512L stays in perfect condition if you clean it regularly. As the filter are washable, you won't have to keep buying new ones. Note: this vacuum and hose aren't antistatic, which makes them unsuitable to use with a wall chaser, angle grinder, plane, woodworking router, demolition hammer, and drywall sander.

In the past I often rented construction vacuum cleaners while renovating my house. Now for the next steps of the renovation bought one. So far it is not inferior to the heavier versions that I have rented. Good suction of coarser debris (stone, cement, etc.). When vacuuming fine dust such as sawdust from aerated concrete blocks, the filter works well and no dust is released. Because the vacuum cleaner hose is so long, you don't have to move the device much, which I found enjoyable while working, and if you have to move it, it is relatively light in weight. Suction power is nothing to complain about and is what you can expect.

Great workshop vacuum cleaner for the price. Been using it for a few weeks now and really like it. I especially like that it switches on automatically when, for example, you connect a sawing machine via the vacuum cleaner. It will then start sucking as soon as you start cutting. Unfortunately no lag, so it stops as soon as you release the button.
