I was looking for something to capture everyday things easily and quickly and I preferred a lens with a fixed focal length. 24mm is perfect for crop sensor cameras because this roughly corresponds to 35mm on full frame. In the meantime I have been able to test the lens extensively and I am very satisfied with it. For portraits I stay true to my 50mm, but this lens remains standard on my camera for everything else. Manual focusing is not as smooth as hoped, but automatic is almost perfect. This lens can also be used indoors or in low light. A great lens for a great price, definitely recommended.
