Light, but bright.

  • Rather stiff Boynet mount. Needs quite a bit of force to screw on the lens.
The 50mm 1.8 lens in combination with my D90 is a very nice lens. Small, light, but super bright. The fixed focal length of 50mm is ideal for taking portraits. You can zoom in and out simply by moving closer or further from your subject. Because my D90 is equipped with a built-in focus motor, I have autofocus. It works quickly and correctly. To protect the lens, I also ordered a B+W UV filter. Have taken a few hundred photos with this lens already, and they look really professional. Thanks to the large aperture of 1.8, you get beautiful blurred backgrounds. Also at nightfall shooting without flash is possible due to the brightness of this lens. I am really satisfied with my purchase, and it was already delivered to my home the next day by taxi post. Excellent service Digicam shop

Top lens for a low price!

This lens should not be missing in the backpack of every (amateur) photographer! The 'bokeh' is really great when you're shooting portraits. So I can recommend this lens to everyone. The service and delivery of coolblue was perfect as always!
