With the combination of 2GB RAM and the RealTek Quad-Core processor, you can work with over 10 people on the server of this NAS at the same time. Tasks and commands are processed quickly, which makes it easy to keep working. Want an extra powerful internet connection? No problem. With 2 Ethernet ports, the DS423+ offers extra security when one of your ports fails. As with all Synology NAS models, the DS423+ uses Synology Drive Server and allows you to edit the NAS storage space from any connected device. Had to replace my DS214 after 10 years. Disks could be transferred and software installed quickly. It takes a long time before everything is optimized. But you don't look at it. 4 slots, so enough to store.

Purchased to replace my previous DS414j. What can I say. It was as simple as a new phone these days. Transfer the hard drives (the sled they are in was even identical). Then you start up. Had to indicate to me what this was going to be called (same name as the previous one chosen). And then everything was back to how it was, but then a much faster browser interface and years of security arranged again.
