You can set these lights to 16 million colors and all shades of white light, which makes them ideal for gaming.
Thanks to the included mounting clips, you can easily place the light strip on the back of your monitor.
This light strip has a color sequence, so it emits several colors at the same time.
Without a bridge, you can't connect this light strip to your screen and you can only control it via Bluetooth.
This light strip isn't ideal for televisions.

Description

Connect these Gradient Light Strips from the Hue Play line to the back of your 24-inch to 27-inch monitor and take your gaming experience to the next level. You can easily do this with the included mounting supports. Via the Hue Sync desktop app, you can synchronize the light strip to your PC. Afterwards, you can set the strip to your liking. The gradient light strip lights up in the colors of your display, so your screen looks bigger and your game more dynamic. The light strip emits every color and every shade of white. If you want to pair the light strip to your PC, you need a bridge. This allows you to connect the lights to the internet.

Note: you need a Hue Bridge to pair the light strips to your monitor.

Super cool product and nice addition to my Hue "Entertainment" corner. Due to the ease of use of the special Hue PC Sync desktop app, which works seamlessly with the Hue Bridge, setting the lightstrip is child's play. The Hue Sync app makes it possible to link a profile to these situations for 4 different situations: "scene, music, gaming, video". After playing my first game, I got a neat suggestion from the Sync app to always start the lamp when the game starts, very handy. In addition, you can indicate per situation how violently the light strip reacts. From calm to "epilepsy" position. And the fun is endless :D an extra option ensures that the strip not only reacts to the change of color in the screen, but also reacts to sound. The only downside and something that could be improved is the plug of the cable between the light strip and the sync. hub that you stick on the back of your screen. This one has to fit just right. Otherwise there is no signal. Tip. With my curved screen from AOC I messed around with the 2 corner elements to attach the strip to your screen. Solution, don't use this one, this saves a lot of frustration and the effect with 3 attachment points instead of 5 is the same.
