Bought this router as an addition (an AiMesh point) to my Asus RT-AX88U router.
I was already very satisfied with my Asus RT-AX88U, but I just needed a little more range in 1 place in my house.
At the time of writing, the RT-AX55 is one of the cheapest AX/Wifi-6 routers available. On Tweakers, only 1 TP-link AX router is cheaper, but it can't do AiMesh. So it is certainly the cheapest Wifi6 AiMesh router. That cheapness may also be reflected in the build quality. It feels a bit plastic, especially compared to the RT-AX88U it certainly feels/is cheaper. From packaging to materials used. Don't get it wrong, it's certainly not bad!
