As far as the performance of the device is concerned, we are very satisfied, especially with regard to the vacuuming. All the dust is really gone after a round of the X-Plorer. Mopping also works well in itself, but I have a few more reservations about that. Since the reservoir is very small and therefore empty quickly, you cannot actually use the mopping function unattended in a large room, while in my opinion the robot performs best in an open, large room. You are also not allowed to add cleaning product, which is a pity. Installing the app went smoothly and the content is also very clear. The app also shows which parts you need to maintain and when, which is a real advantage, so you don't have to consult the manual every time. The robot does drive over the same places a lot and I really don't find any pattern in its movements. I had expected that he would get to know our house and that he would automatically return to his charging station after a round of cleaning, but that is not the case (or he would need more than 2 hours for our living room of 32m²). He also bumps regularly, luckily he does so gently. Strange in itself, because one moment he detects the cupboard / door, and 50 cm further he drives against it, for example. It is also quite noisy, but that doesn't bother me as much, so is a "normal" vacuum cleaner. I'm glad I got the chance to test a robot vacuum cleaner because I've been thinking about buying one for a long time. Through this test I was able to discover that such a robot vacuum cleaner is really just not a "match" with our family and our house. Not because we are not satisfied with the performance of the device, but because it does not "unburden" us as expected.

Ease of use is very good, it gets under all seats and furniture. Different surfaces are also no problem (stone, wood and carpet). Cleaning the dust bin is a breeze. The app is easy to install, although I think it's a shame that the app only works on 1 device at a time. So the person with the app has to operate the vacuum cleaner and no one else in the household can. Which is also a pity that it cannot be added to Google Home, all our other devices that work on apps are together in Google Home (thermostat, lights, plugs, chromecast…) and each family member can control them via their own smartphone. A lot of free space is required for the charging station, which is a minus because it is not easy to find a right place. Our cats also love to push toys/balls in front of the vacuum cleaner and then it gets stuck :) They also like the longer white brushes to try to stop them with their paw. Yes, we have special cats… We also had to do something about “cable management” because it got stuck in, for example, the cables of the speakers, but that was quickly done and also nicer for ourselves. We used to have a robot vacuum cleaner and it made a lot of noise, this one is not that bad. He also bumps into the corners and edges very carefully. I have only tested the mop function once, I find no added value and would rather do it myself. Our house is rather irregular in shape and sometimes he can't find the kitchen, sometimes he can't find the living room or he can't find his docking station at all. He does his job very well but is not "smart" enough to completely vacuum our ground floor All in all, I think the vacuum cleaner is a very good addition to the household, but it is not suitable for our house.
