The lens is not as compact as the old lens, but it still remains a nice size. I found that in the XF 33 mm f/1.4. Great glass!

With a bit of luck getting a copy through Coolblue. After two weeks of using this review! The XF 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR is (slightly) thicker, longer and heavier than its older brother, the 35mm f/1.4. You can feel it, but it's more than worth it, with an optical design consisting of 15 elements in 10 groups. The (all-metal) version exudes solidity and quality. The aperture ring that clicks in third stops works smoothly. In practice, the lens feels very familiar. A must-buy when it's back in stock!
