Alecto DBX-80

We have been using this product for over a month now. You can really see it as a walki-talkie device. Where the child goes into the socket, so you don't have to worry about the battery. VOX (pick up sound) sensitivity is adjustable and detect every sound if desired. Bought for the range due to spacious garden. This makes it with ease, and also when we are with the neighbors. Alecto itself talks about 3000 M (these are open field measurements, just like they do with walkie-talkies) In the house + with houses in between - so one street away. Do we get 200 M before we get the signal out of range (will it beep) (this is about what we get with our walkie-talkies from another renowned brand where 3000 M is also achieved on open field, but in practice this is also the case 250 m. The battery of the parent unit lasts about 9 to 10 hours, depending on how much your baby talks ;) This corresponds to the specifications, the 35 hours described in the text seems to me to be an error in the product description.

We were looking for a baby monitor that you could easily take outside (mounting clip) and that also has sufficient range. We have now tested it from inside to outside at 75 meters and still very good range.

Great simple baby monitor with a huge range. A point of attention was the first time it was charged, that it only came to life after a few hours of charging and some fiddling with the on/off button. But since then it works perfectly. Very happy with it. Can now sit in the back of the garden while the baby sleeps.
