In terms of size, it is a large tablet that has quite a bit of weight, for use in one hand on the couch it is a somewhat heavy tablet, the tablet is super thin with a fine and beautiful metal finish, without a cover it does have a fingerprint magnet.

I get about 8 to 9 hours of use with the battery, that is with a lot of Samsung Internet browser use and some app use, no gaming, which is fine by the way. The supplied charger is really a joke, it really doesn't make you happy, full charging takes 3 1/2 hours and if you use the tablet in the meantime, it hardly recharges. In addition, it has a bizarrely short cord. I bought the separate Samsung 45 watt charger and a 3 meter long USB-C cable from Blue Build (make sure that the cable can handle 45 watts), with which the tablet is fully charged in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

I also bought the Samsung keyboard cover (and the book cover), with that the whole thing starts to look like a laptop, especially if you use Samsung Dex. This gives you a desktop-like environment where apps run in windows that you can turn into large ones. The keyboard cover is a nice addition and protects the tablet well, the built-in kickstand works well and really adds something, but the cover makes it a lot heavier. There is also a book cover, which adds much less weight and is also considerably thinner which makes the whole a bit more portable, the book cover also fits well, both covers are magnetically attached to the tablet, which is also very sturdy stuck together.

The supplied S-pen works really great, has hardly any drawing delay and supports "gestures", the pen clicks magnetically on the back of a plastic strip near the cameras, the pen is also charged wirelessly there, I am not a draftsman myself, so a professional I can't judge it except that it feels nice in the hand, just like a real pen. With the keyboard cover, the pen is held in place by the back of the cover, there is a recess for the pen in which you can fold the top to take the pen, with the book cover that part is just open and you can your pen magnetically in the inside of the cover.

The (Am)oled screen is really really beautiful, you really have to see this to understand what I mean by it, once used to such a screen, all non-oled screens look dull and less colorful. The screen can also handle a high brightness, supports HDR10 + and has a non-adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 images per second, the screen will switch between 60 and 120hz if an app does not support the higher refresh rate.

The four speakers give a very good sound, especially if you turn on Dolby Atmos, you will not really get bass sounds out of it of course, the speakers are just too small for that, but the sound is nice and clear and spacious and it is also possible loud. The tablet does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, you have to rely on Bluetooth 5.0 for your headset/earbuds, the tablet supports the following codecs in terms of Bluetooth audio; SBC, AptX, AAC, LDAC and Samsung Scalable Codec. It is possible to use your wired headset with a USB-C to 3.5mm jack adapter cable, but this adapter cable is not included.

The optical fingerprint scanner under the screen (no, this is not an ultrasonic scanner) works very well, unlocks quickly, even faster and more accurate than the ultrasonic scanner in my Galaxy S10. The tablet is really fast in use, everything loads quickly, apps are updated quickly and the whole feels smooth, I have not encountered any hitches yet. This is the model with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, this is the WiFi model, no SIM card can be inserted for 5G internet, but there is a micro-SD slot that can accommodate cards up to 1 Terabyte for extra storage. The USB-C port is multifunctional, meaning that you can charge the tablet with it, but the port also supports USB peripherals such as USB-C memory sticks, USB-C card readers, USB-C dongles for a wireless keyboard/mouse, USB -c hubs and game controllers, the port can also control a monitor via displayport or via a usb-c docking station. However, it does not work with every device, with some searching on the internet you can find enough information about it.

The tablet has 2 rear cameras with a flash, the primary camera has 13 megapixels with AF and the second camera, a wide-angle model, has 5 megapixels. You can shoot a nice picture with it in daylight, but for photos you grab your smartphone faster, taking photos with such a large tablet is not really practical and the cameras are also not very special in terms of photo quality, but it is glad it's over. The front camera is an 8 megapixel one and gives a great image for video calling, going up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.

In terms of performance, this is about the fastest Android tablet available, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ is incredibly fast with loading and using apps, even surfing the internet in the Samsung Internet Browser or Google Chrome is super fast, page ` s load smoothly, even if you use several tabs at the same time, however, this is the version with 8 GB ram, the model with 6 GB ram may become slower a bit faster, but I can't test that.

All in all, I'm super satisfied with this tablet, if I can name a downside it would be the price, because it's an expensive tablet, especially with the keyboard cover included. However, no other Android tablet even comes close in terms of speed, screen quality and overall experience, this tablet is just really good!

The personalization options, the linking with other Samsung devices is top notch. You can link your SMS, telephone, etc. to this. If you don't have WiFi, just use your phone's mobile hotspot. Tip: Enable developer options, speeding up some animations (like switching between apps) will make the device feel even faster.

The galaxy tab S7+ is a real powerhouse, there's no doubt about that. Finally a tablet that offers all the best of Android.

I mainly use the tablet for work, as advertised, as a productivity tool. Everything is going very smoothly. At meetings, I often use the S-pen to make quick notes and I also use the option to add sound clips to the written text. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

The new Samsung DeX is now wireless! With mouse and keyboard this feels like a revelation. Make sure that the TV is compatible, of course.

This tablet is also recommended for mobile gaming. The processor is more than powerful enough to run all games smoothly. Call Of Duty mobile, for example, is booming.

In short, if you are an avid Android user and want the best of what an Android tablet has to offer in 2020 for both productivity and gaming, this is the tablet for you!
