I have already used the appliance several times, usually I turn it on for a while during the day so that I can refill my freezer. The ice cubes that are ready rattle off the excess water with the basket and put them in a freezer bag. If you want to use them, they sometimes stick together, but let the bag "fall" 1 or 2 times on the counter and you have loose ice cubes again :) No more hassle with ice cubes that are just a bit crooked in the freezer or drip after the filling. Cleaning is also done in no time by removing the plug at the bottom above the sink. Water drains well, let it dry for a while and you're done! I think it's ideal!
