We were able to test this AEG air purifier for 3 weeks, and the result was surprisingly good. My wife has asthma and various allergies. This was quite an experience for her, because all her complaints were almost completely gone. And I myself noticed a big difference in the house, bad odors disappear almost immediately. The size is striking, because it is quite bulky with a height of 73 cm. But luckily the design is modern, and it wouldn't look out of place in the house. More striking was the noise that the air purifier produces, namely almost nothing. The device is almost completely silent in use, which also makes it suitable for a bedroom. Only when strange smells come into the house, or during cooking, you will hear it working. Then it will work a little harder, and you will hear that of course. But this is also not disturbing, because usually after a minute or 3 it goes back to silent. On top of the air purifier is the control panel where you can choose from 2 positions. Smart or Manual, but we have it on smart 24/7. You don't have to worry about it, it automatically adjusts the level that is needed at that moment. The color ring on top indicates the quality, and for an extensive report with all the details, you can connect the AEG with the app. This is quite simple, and once connected you can use the app immediately. The app provides more insight into the air quality in the house. This information is very extensive, but explained in detail with the meanings of, for example, a TVOS, or PM10. But you can also read humidity and room temperature via the app. The operation can also be done remotely via the app, so the control panel is not really necessary. We are really surprised by the effect of this air purifier, and only now realize how nice it is to have it in the house. What we still find unclear is the lifespan of the filter in the AEG. It has a limited lifespan, indicated by percentages in the app. After 3 weeks the filter is 95% with us Once it is used up, it can no longer be used and must be replaced. The downside is that they are very pricey. I highly recommend this product for people with allergies, or who want a literal refreshment in the house. You will notice the difference after a few days.
