Super much better than my old TV, the reaction time was immediately noticeable, I gave the old TV to my parents, they were shocked and had a bit of panic.

I use this monitor myself for gaming and watching series. Besides the good size/image quality, the difference between 60Hz and +120Hz makes a world of difference in games like 3D shooters. Note that with older HDMI ports you may get 120Hz instead of 144Hz. The screen is easy to assemble and adjust in all directions. You usually only need a screwdriver for the bottom of the stand. However, do not screw the bottom too tight, otherwise the monitor can no longer be adjusted sideways. Adjusting settings such as contrast, brightness and video source are done with the buttons at the bottom right of the monitor. Navigating through the menus with only 4 buttons may take some getting used to, but I found this out fairly quickly without instructions. After a short time this feels very intuitive. As for retro gaming (older consoles without HDMI), the monitor can only be used with corresponding (possibly expensive) adapters. However, with 2 HDMI ports, your desktop/laptop and console can be connected at the same time. Finally, this monitor is only 1080p (full HD). This is enough for most people, but AOC also has comparable curved/1440p models available. As far as I know, there are no full-fledged 4K variants of Coolblue. Summarized: This line of AOC monitors is very suitable for most forms of gaming and video entertainment with excellent ease of use and enough variants within the line. The negative points mentioned are not a genuine hindrance to the quality of the product. Most negatives such as retro gaming or cable length will be relevant to few people and can be remedied with the right replacement components. Highly recommended, especially for this price range!

The AOC 24G2u already gives a very nice color reproduction out of the box, I recommend adjusting it a bit (dimming) if, for example, you plan to game in the dark. Control buttons at the bottom are very clumsy, luckily you can download the software from AOC itself to calibrate your screen without using it. Screen itself is aesthetically okay, nice edge. Foot itself has turned out somewhat large and clumsy. You can adjust the screen both in height and tilt, which immediately gives enormous ergonomic added value. Viewing angle of the screen is disappointing, colors even differ a bit when you look at it from the side, so make sure you are right in front of the screen. Given the screen is easily adjustable, this can certainly be arranged. Furthermore, the 144hz is certainly an added value for faster and competitive games. The response speed of the screen is also simply brilliant for an IPS panel. In summary: The price-quality ratio of this screen is more than excellent. Recommended.
