The Nikon Nikkor Z 14-30mm f/4 S is a wide-angle lens for Nikon mirrorless cameras. With the wide viewing angle, you can capture wide landscapes and tall buildings in detail. You can shoot from creative positions with the minimum focal distance of 0.28 meters. Thanks to the fixed aperture of f/4, the exposure stays the same when you zoom in. The lens is also suitable for videographers and the multiple focus system makes your images look smooth. In addition, the lens is very silent, so you won't hear any noises from the autofocus motor in your videos. This is a high quality compact ultra wide angle zoom lens. Easy to take with you because of the size and weight. Personally, I find the protruding diameter of the ring on the front that allows filters to be very large and out of tune with the design. In addition, I still get considerable vignetting when using an 82mm slim filter. They could have omitted the option of screwing a filter on to me. The price is on the high side for an f/4 lens. But nothing else to complain about the quality and its small size makes it super handy in the camera bag.

I am delving into architectural photography. My first test shoot with this lens was a hit right away. In combination with the Z6 II you get super sharp images and because of the ultra wide angle I have not yet needed a tilt-shift lens. For f/4, the price may be a bit on the high side, but it's worth the investment!
