Description
The Zhiyun Crane 2 is a one-handed gimbal for your photo or video camera of up to 3.2 kilos. This gimbal is suitable for experienced photographers and camera operators. Its maximum camera weight capacity is enough to make it suitable for nearly all photo cameras. The 3 different modes give you precise control over the camera's panning and tilting. The Follow Focus mode lets you keep the focus on moving subjects. The
OLED display allows you to check your settings as well as the battery level. The quick-release plate is suitable for Manfrotto tripod heads, so you can switch between gimbal and tripod head quickly. With the Zhiyun app for smartphones, you can control the gimbal from a distance or calibrate the motor. The tripod will hold 3 batteries, making it last 12 to 18 hours.
Suitable models include the Canon EOS series, Nikon D series, Sony Multi-interface shoe and Panasonic GH3 and GH4. Note: the gimbal can tilt forward when using a heavy lens with your camera.

The included case is of high quality, very neat. The follow focus button was in the way, so I unscrewed it. (as this function is only available for Canon users). Although the ZC2 can carry 3.2 kg, this is practically not an option, because it simply becomes too heavy. The crane 2 is a handy film tool, especially for walking/moving shots. But I will definitely keep shooting 75% handheld, because I have more control and visibility.

Takes practice but after that you can have a lot of fun with it. Plenty of accessories available.
