Pros and cons

According to our mouse expert

  • Wirelessly connect it to your laptop or desktop with the nano receiver.
  • Easily navigate your programs with the 4 extra buttons.
  • This mouse is only suitable for right-handed users.

Description

If you prefer to work with a trackball instead of a regular mouse, the Logitech MX Ergo Wireless Mouse is for you. That's because navigating your desktop with the trackball reduces the strain on the muscles in your hand. This ergonomic mouse is very suitable for your ergonomically sound workplace. With the button on top of the mouse, you can switch between 2 PCs in no time. For example, put your laptop next to your PC and use the mouse to navigate your laptop instead of your desktop at the touch of a button. With 4 extra thumb buttons, you can navigate through all web pages even more easily.

Accessible, ergonomic and fun alternative.

  • Very accessible for someone who normally doesn't use a trackball.
  • Useful for point-and-click games on an HTPC.
  • Works smoothly with macOS High Sierra without additional software.
  • Scroll wheel quality below par compared to Logitech MX Master.

I've been a fan of Logitech mice since the MX500. Then I bought the MX518. The latter is still in service. At work I now alternately use the MX Master and MX Ergo. In the meantime I prefer the Ergo because I mainly navigate with the keyboard during programming. The ergonomic advantage is greater than the precision that you sacrifice compared to a regular mouse. The quality of the scroll wheel is a bit disappointing if you're used to the MX Master.

super mouse

  • the tilting

the tilting of the mouse is really fantastic, When you start to feel the fatigue in your wrist, and you tilt the mouse, you feel such relief going through your hand... I had bought a 2nd choice mouse and something went wrong with the control, but Coolblue really solved that like a champion. Sometimes things go wrong with webshops, but Coolblue is the only webshop that really does their best to REALLY help their customers.

Nice mouse that makes your RSI complaints disappear

  • Also works via Bluetooth
  • 20 degrees adjustment for extra rest
  • Easy to set up
  • No USB-C connection

I use this mouse on a 2017 model MacBook Pro and an external monitor. The mouse works on bluetooth and is therefore easy for me to use without using the supplied micro-usb receiver. Navigating with the trackball is very nice, you can also set the speed at which you navigate well. My RSI complaints have all but disappeared with this mouse, because I no longer have to move from screen to screen with my arm. By placing the mouse at an angle of 20 degrees, you can relieve your hand and arm even more. The only drawback in my opinion is that the transition between the two modes is done by means of a button. a magnet goes and therefore a bit clumsy.

The right size for you: the 60% rule

How large is a mouse exactly? It's often difficult to see on a photo. That's why we thought of the thumb rule below.

Choose a mouse that takes up more than half of the surface of the dimensions of your hand. You can find the dimensions of the mouse under the specifications.

Your hands are often 2 times longer from your wrist to the tip of your middle finger than that it's wide from your little finger to the knuckle of your thumb. The closer the length and width a mouse come to 60% of the length and width of your hands, the more likely it is that the mouse feels comfortable in your hand.

The right size for you: the 60% rule
