It is my 2nd microphone and it works great. The sound is incredibly natural. Easy to set up in, for example, OBS and to eliminate background noise you can assign filters such as noise reduction.

The mic itself has cardioid which means that the sound is only picked up at the front and almost not at the sides or back. The set comes in an aluminum flight case with all accessories. A pop cap as well as a pop filter are included as standard, as are the USB cable, shock mount and desk tripod.

In Windows 10 you plug in and start recording immediately, so no drivers are needed.

It may be more convenient to use a microphone arm or boom arm instead of the desk stand. This prevents unwanted noises from your desk such as your keyboard for example (or bumping against your desk or hand noise on your desk) Coolblue also has many variants in its range.

As for the pop filter, it has a thick plastic edge and the dust does block some noise. It is better to purchase a metal mesh pop filter without a rim. For starters, you don't look at such a thick edge, which can certainly be quite annoying in YouTube recordings, you can also look through the filter for, for example, to operate your windows if that metal also deflects your breath sounds but the sound right through. Those are properties that the fabric pop filter does not do. This not only stops your breath, but also a part of your voice sound as well as that you cannot see through it. Something to keep in mind.

I've been using the 1st mic for years, make all my YouTube videos on my channel "CSW_Wouter" and use a microphone arm (Røde PSA-1) as well as a metal mesh pop filter. In terms of quality you are very close to semi professional sound, I can tell you.

I bought the mic as a 2nd chance product and with that a nice part of the price went off. Everything complete and undamaged and very satisfied with this 2nd mic that is already fully in use :)
