Description

The Alecto DBX-88 ECO DECT baby monitor uses DECT technology that makes it 100% interference-free. The sensitivity of the microphone can be set in 5 steps. That way, you decide how much sound you want to hear. In addition, a couple of LED lights come on automatically when there's a sound. You see and hear that there's a sound. To calm the little one when they are crying, you can talk to them via the parent unit. Besides that, you can control the baby monitor from a distance to have it play lullabies or turn on the night light.

A baby monitor with battery is comparable to a smartphone that drains its battery whenever you're watching a video. Meaning, the battery life is limited.

No fuss on this baby monitor and the sound compatibility can be nice and low. For example, he only goes off when there is really murder and fire and not with every cough. On the other hand, your child may scream so loud that you actually don't need a baby monitor at all.

  • Baby unit can run on batteries, but they are empty so quickly that this is not really a serious option (not needed yet)
We already had 2 at home to great satisfaction and just bought this model again for our third. A good device for a good price. The range is good, the battery lasts long enough and it accepts regular rechargeable batteries, so you can replace them over time (we put in new, even stronger ones after 2 years). The sound quality and sensitivity is excellent compared to other baby monitors. Never had interference or noises from other baby monitors. Remotely controlling the music and talk-back function has saved us many a walk. The tunes have a soothing effect and the lights are just soft enough.

I had read many good things from alecto. After reading the various options, we opted for the alecto DBX-85. I wanted good range and a talk-back function. We have been using it for 7 weeks now and are very satisfied. No noise a good range. I hear both children loud and clear. The talk-back function is also loud and clear.
