Description
With the Philips AC2887/10, you can clean the air in a space of up to 67 square meters. It does this with the help of a pre-filter, a HEPA filter, and a carbon filter. Great, because it not only cleans 99.97% of the dust particles, bacteria, and viruses from the air, but also the air from cigarette smoke, for example. On the display, you can easily read if the air in the room is contaminated. In automatic mode, the cleaner starts working harder as soon as it detects more dirt in the air. Do you want to use this air purifier in the bedroom? If so, set it to night mode and it does its work extra quietly.
Note: if the filter replacement light flashes, you must replace the filters. This will happen after about 12 months. If you don't do this, the air purifier will stop working.

Sleep well?

The air purifier seems to be working fine. We mainly bothered him against wood smoke. However, the device does have a few drawbacks regarding the sleep mode (this is typical Philips because they make the same mistakes with their humidifiers, see reviews elsewhere) Philips apparently finds it necessary to produce a beep with every key touch. This is annoying when you want to change the setting at night and people are sleeping. The LED also provides quite a lot of light at night. To top it off, a tune plays when the timer is up, which is fun at night too. It's a mystery why the sleep modes on these types of devices are so poorly thought out.

The air purifier works really well. We are very satisfied with it. The air is cleaned really well. Especially now that the hay fever season is slowly starting again. In addition, the sleep mode is really good. I sleep very lightly and can't stand a lot of noise. But this device makes so little noise in sleep mode that it doesn't even bother me. Another tip. You should now download the Philips Home app instead of the Air matters app. This is indicated on the Philips site.
