According to our monitor expert
Your powerful gaming PC deserves a monitor that can handle the best graphics at high resolutions: the AOC AGON AG271QX. Thanks to its quick response time of 1ms, fast-moving images are displayed clearly. In addition, the 144Hz refresh rate ensures that images in fast games such as Battlefield 1 appear naturally and smoothly. With FreeSync (between 30 and 144Hz), the days of tearing and stuttering are a thing of the past. The included AGON QuickSwitch keypad, lets you switch easily between various gaming presets. This allows you to set the brightness or contrast you need for different games. Tilt, pivot or adjust the height of this AOC monitor to find the most comfortable playing posture and the best view of the screen, allowing you to play for hours on end without straining your neck or shoulders.

This is my 2nd screen that I received. My first screen not only suffered from a bit of 'bleeding' along the sides, but even in the middle which was completely disturbing. Can happen, sometimes it's a bit of a TN panel lottery. This was quickly resolved by customer service and returned. Remark ! : Kudos to coolblue, I had my 2nd new screen 2 days later after I sent my first return, well done! The new screen that I received has almost NO problems with bleeding! happy dance! The installation was simple, just screw the stand on the screen, connect the cables and there you go. There is also a remote for adjusting the settings, in the beginning perhaps useful to quickly set the screen to your preferences, then a bit useless and then gets in the way. Once connected, I quickly adjusted the settings, which seemed to be good for me at first sight. Quickly go through the windows calibration for the color reproduction. With a little play, the rendering came to a 97%sRGB color, which is certainly not bad, but as a gamer I want it to be perfect. I also use the screen as an all-round screen, so occasionally some office work, photo editing and movies. Running a Spyder5 pro calibration and running 100% sRGB with minor adjustments The color reproduction, contrast/brightness is almost perfect for my environment and everything looks vibrant and high in contrast. Of course this is primarily a game screen and this is an enrichment of the previous screen. Once you've used a 144hz screen, you don't want anything else. Games run smoothly, no hiccups and look insanely good on a 1080GTX from Nvidia. Since the last driver update, Nvidia makes sure that freesync screens are compatible than the more expensive Gsync screens and that is also the case with this screen! 1440p, all on ultra settings in most games, with Gsync active and 144hz... Neat! TN-Panels generally have a slightly worse reputation for viewing angles. You usually sit right in front of the screen, so that the viewing angles are less than just disturbing for the people who look at your screen from a different angle. Is this a problem? Depends on the person in question I guess. In short, I am very satisfied with the purchase (including customer service) and for me personally this is the best price/quality product if you want to buy a 1440p/144hz screen.

A good screen, don't be put off by the brand. AOC has been making good screens for many years. Bought it because of some test results, this screen comes out high in the tests, only beaten by monitors with 200~ euro more price. Very pleased with the colors despite being a TN panel. Only downside I can think of for some is the power supply maybe 'ugly' but that's not what you buy it for.
