I would like to start with the fact that I am very satisfied with this monitor, so that's why my extensive review. I myself need a monitor that: - Has good image quality - Suitable for gaming is - Decent resolution I have found all these points in this monitor amply! I myself was a bit skeptical about the range of features and specifications for this price range. But AOC has turned everything it promised into a class monitor. In the package was: - 1 Power cable - 1 HDMI Cable - 1 VGA Cable - 1 DVI Cable - 1 Audio cable - 1 CD with AOC software I did not expect these "extras" for this price range. My PC recognized the monitor right away and the supplied software is also handy. With this software you can adjust the image settings of the monitor (so you don't have to fiddle with those buttons under your screen ;-) ). I also like that the screen is matte, but that's a personal preference. The display looks nice, but is quite unstable in my opinion. When I turn off the display, the display moves back and forth quite a bit. But this is the only downside in my opinion. I hope this review has helped you in choosing a monitor!

The AOC G2460VQ6 is a monitor that provides the user with all the conveniences, and all for a price that you would normally get less for. This review will briefly explain why. The G2460VQ6 (from now on called G2460) comes with all necessary cables, such as an HDMI cable, a VGA cable, a Displayport cable, an audio cable and of course the power cable. Except for the required power cable, I only use the HDMI cable, but it's nice that AOC thinks of everyone. Mounting and connecting the monitor is smooth and fast. The monitor is easy to mount on the supplied base and connecting the cables is also done in a few seconds. In my opinion, it is ideal that the monitor has an audio connection, so that I can connect my external speakers so that I always have sound through these speakers, even if I connect my laptop via HDMI. It didn't take long before I could fully enjoy the G2460. Once the monitor was plugged in and placed on my desk, I was immediately impressed by the design. The monitor looks very sleek, and the red finish on the bottom gives it that little bit extra compared to, for example, a standard black monitor. What became clear to me quite quickly after using the monitor is that the G2460 has very good viewing angles. I am used to working with IPS panels, which are known to have better viewing angles than TN panels. However, the TN panel of the G2460 is not inferior to the IPS panels that are known to me. Added to this is the nice fact that the response time of this monitor is significantly better than that of IPS panels, which offers advantages especially when playing games. The color reproduction and the resolution of the monitor are as you would expect from a 1080P TN monitor. In my opinion, the screen is very bright and displays colors well. Because the refresh rate of the monitor is 75HZ (where many monitors in this price range have a 60 Hz panel), playing shooters and fast games, and viewing fast images is just that little bit nicer. If your computer has an AMD video card, the screen also offers the possibility to use the FreeSync technology, which should prevent stuttering and tearing so that games can be played even better and better. The G2460 uses the so-called Anti-Blue light technology. This protects users from the harmful effect the blue light has on your eyes. This means that you can look at the screen for longer without getting your eyes hurt, especially at night or in dark rooms. I myself believe that this is indeed the case. I have been working with the monitor for some time now and I notice that I can work longer and better with this monitor. This makes it easier to concentrate on reading a text for a longer period of time. I think this is a very big plus. In addition to all the good points that have now been mentioned, there are of course also some (small) lesser points. For example, the settings menu is a bit dated, so it works less than it could. Added to this is the fact that you have to scroll through this menu with the physical buttons on the bottom of the monitor, and when you press these buttons the foot of the monitor (and therefore the screen) moves slightly (although this is not really bothersome for me is). In addition, the monitor is not adjustable in height, which may be annoying for some. However, the height is fine for me. As a final flaw, I would like to mention the quality of the built-in speakers. It's nice that they are there, especially for a monitor in this price range, but the sound is not of a high level and so I will never use them. All in all, I can conclude that the AOC G2460VQ6 is more than worth its money. The screen is of very good quality and is very nice for working and gaming. The response time of 1 ms makes this screen very suitable for avid gamers. You can also continue to work well on the monitor during the evenings thanks to AOC's Anti-blue technology. If you expect a monitor with good speakers, it is better to look further. But I believe there are much more expensive monitors on the market that have less to offer and underperform than this one.

My son saved for it himself and after endless research chose this one. It is a very nice monitor for the money. The statue is rock solid, beautiful vibrant colors. The built-in speakers are suitable for playing sounds from Windows and that's about it. But I expected that too. Another plus: all video cables are included (HDMI, VGA, Displayport).
