Corsair Vengeance 8GB DIMM DDR3-1600 CL 9 Black 2 x 4GB

Switching from 8GB to 16GB RAM seemed like a smart move because my video "renders" were pretty slow. But I never expected this ; Click, 2 seconds, Done. That's damn fast! It also has disadvantages, I used to be able to "teduce" my boss that rendering would take a long time. But now that he knows everything is going so fast I have no excuse to play BioShock Infinite during my renders.

I ordered the corsair vengeance 8GB DIMM3-1600CL9 Black a few weeks ago, arrived a few days later (holiday). I have absolutely nothing to say about the delivery. Amazingly fast as always! The memory itself is a huge upgrade as I used to work with Kingston 4GB 1333. I am a PC gamer myself and I have to say that the difference between these 2 memories is huge. Loading times for games have been cut about half. Booting the PC has also become a lot faster and I can now convert or edit videos from game footage a lot faster. The cooling strips on top of the memory cards also show that they are not just attached. With intensive use of the memory, they conduct the heat better and the performance remains almost great. I recommend this memory to anyone who likes to run heavier programs on their PC, want to play the latest games or very high settings (Battlefield 4, Dead Island Riptide, etc) or who just want the PC to go faster, better and more fun to work. Overall, I can't find any negatives for this except maybe the factory packaging. For a delicate piece of technology like a memory card, I would have expected at least an anti-static packaging.
