Which products can your lease with a subscription?

We have subscriptions for washing machines, dryers, washer dryer combinations, fridges, dishwashers, and freezers. Click the link below for the assortment.

What are the advantages of a subscription?

A subscription has different advantages. You'll pay a fixed amount per month and you'll have a machine that's always working. This means we'll repair or replace the appliance within 48 hours if it's broken. You'll also have 30 days of satisfaction guarantee. After 1 year, you can cancel the subscription monthly. Are you moving? You can take the product with you yourself to your new house.

Is a washing machine subscription a kind of payment in installments?

No, a subscription isn't a way to pay in installments, but you make a lease payment to Coolblue. Legally speaking, Coolblue remains the owner of the product for the duration of the subscription.

Why does Coolblue have subscriptions?

Coolblue wants to make it easier for customers to get a good appliance for a fixed monthly fee. That's useful if your old product is broken and need a new one

Will I be the owner of the appliance?

No. Legally, Coolblue remains the owner of the appliance for the duration of the subscription. So a subscription isn't a way for you to pay for the product in installments.

Can I take out a subscription for someone else?

No, you can only get a subscription for yourself. And you have to be 18 years or older to take out a subscription.

Can I take out multiple subscriptions at the same time

You can take out up to 1 subscription per product type. So you can't take out 2 washing machine subscriptions at the same time, but you can take out 1 washing machine and 1 dryer subscription.

Can I take out a business subscription?

Currently, we only have subscriptions for individuals.

What's the minimum age for a subscription?

You need to be at least 18 for a Coolblue subscription.

How do test it?

To prevent fraud, Coolblue works with Focum. This partner tells us whether you're fulfilling your monthly payment obligation. When you enter your payment information, Focum automatically checks this

What happens with my information after the test?

We don't save the information from the test. We only register that we perform the test. Want to know more? Go to the Terms and Conditions.

Do I get a CKP registration if I take out a subscription at Coolblue?

No, we only use your information for the Focum test and never share it with third parties.

How does the payment for a subscription work?

You first have to make a one-time payment. This varies between € 48 and € 199, depending on the product. After that, you pay a fixed amount per month via direct debit. The monthly amount differs per product. We'll charge the subscription costs to your account around the 27th of each month. A subscription month at Coolblue runs from the 27th to the 26th of the next month, and you always pay in advance for the next month.

What does the first payment consist of?

The first time, you only pay one-time costs. The costs vary between € 49 and € 199, depending on the product. After that, we'll automatically charge the monthly fee every month.

Why do you have to pay one-time costs?

This is what you pay to activate your subscription at Coolblue. The amount varies between € 49 and € 199, depending on the product. The product remains property of Coolblue.

Why is the first monthly amount higher?

The first amount is often higher because you pay for the current and the next month. Every payment period runs from the 27th to the 26th of the next month. So if your subscription starts on 14 May, you already get your washing machine on 15 May. In that case, you pay for what's left of May and for June. The amount of the next payment will be the standard monthly fee.

When will your product be delivered?

At checkout, you can choose a delivery date and a time slot if desired.

At what time will your product be delivered?

In the night before delivery, you'll receive a Track & Trace code with a 1-hour time slot. You'll also receive a phone call 15 minutes before delivery from one of our delivery drivers.

Do you connect my product?

Yes. We'll deliver and install your product, and we'll connect it for free.

Can you also take my old appliance with you?

We'll take your old appliance with us from its current location. It does need to have a similar size.

Do I have to be home to receive the appliance?

If there's someone to open the door for our delivery drivers, you don't have to be home yourself.

What if I change my mind?

You can cancel the subscription within 30 days without giving a reason.

What is the minimum term of a subscription?

You always lease the washing machine for a minimum of 12 months. After that, the subscription can be canceled monthly, without giving any reason. Coolblue will pick up the product from you for free and processes it in an environmentally-friendly manner.

Can I transfer my subscription to someone else?

Yes, you can. You have to contact us for that. You can do this by sending an email to klantenservice@coolblue.nl or by calling 03 - 80 82 700

What do I do in case of damage or a defect?

Contact us via klantenservice@coolblue.nl or via 03 - 80 82 700. We'll do our best to repair your appliance as quickly as possible. If we can't, we'll provide a replacement product. With white goods and kitchen appliances, you'll get a replacement within 48 hours.

I'm moving, now what?

If you're moving soon, you'll move your white goods product to your new house yourself. You'll also install it in its new spot. Please provide our customer service with your new address, so we have the right address for your subscription. You can do this by sending an email to klantenservice@coolblue.be or by calling 03 - 80 82 700.

How do I cancel my subscription

After 12 months, you can easily cancel your subscription via our customer service. The cancellation period is 1 month. You can also cancel free of charge during the satisfaction guarantee. This period lasts up to 30 days after taking out your subscription. After that, the contract expires and you can't cancel it. If you still want to, you'll still have to pay for the remaining months. During the term, you can transfer your contract to someone else via klantenservice@coolblue.nl or by phone via 03 - 80 82 700.

Can I buy the product if I cancel the subscription?

No, this isn't possible. The product remains the property of Coolblue. When you cancel the subscription, we'll pick up the product for free.

What happens to the appliance after I cancel

Coolblue will pick up the appliance for free and process it in an environmentally-friendly way.
