The Apple HomePod Mini is a compact WiFi speaker that's only 8.4cm high. Despite this small size, the sound of the speaker is just as powerful as the most recent medium-sized WiFi speakers. That way, it's suitable for various rooms. Do you sit around the table with a group of friends? Put the speaker in the middle, and the sounds is clear in every direction, thanks to the 360-degree design. You can control the speaker via your iPhone, or with your voice, thanks to Siri.

Despite the many criticisms, I like my white HomePod. Possibly/hopefully the software will be updated at some point to fix the bugs. Manual only in German (!) makes me suspect that I received an import from Coolblue. Fie!

As a loyal Apple fan, this was about the only device I didn't have at home. I purchased the HomePod as a speaker for the desk. I was aware that playing Spotify had to be done with some detours. After all, Apple wants to promote its own Apple Music. In theory, you can play Spotify, but it is a hassle. However, what bothers me the most is the HomePod's responsiveness. Each action takes quite a bit of time, including adjusting volume, changing songs, etc. Sometimes the HomePod doesn't even respond at all. The sound is ok, but there are much better speakers for this price category. I really expected much more from Apple… Unfortunately, the HomePod does not work smoothly and, unlike other Apple products, does not feel intuitive. This ensures little 'fun' when using the device. Instead, it tends to create a sense of frustration… If you're looking for an affordable hub for HomeKit, the HomePod might be worth considering. For the rest, however, the HomePod is not recommended at all. In any case, my HomePod has already been returned to Coolblue.

The insurance can be canceled every year, even if you have paid in advance. If you cancel earlier, you will receive a refund for the overpaid amount.
