Think of an Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 processor with an NVIDIA RTX 4060 or 4070 video card. The A850G offers protection from various power problems. Think of voltage spikes, undervoltage, a short circuit, and overheating. The 80 Plus Gold certification proves how efficient the supply unit divides the power. Over 89% of the power is turned into power for your PC. Want to save even more energy? Press the Zero Fan button and the fan will turn itself off when you use less than 40% of the power supplied. MSI provides a 10-year warranty for this product.

Chose this PSU because it was highly rated on the cultist PSU tier list, and is ATX 3.0 compatible for my GPU. Some cables are stiff and a bit difficult to bend, which can make cable management a bit difficult, but they feel of good quality. So far I haven't heard any disturbing noise from the PSU. The included bag to store the unused cables is also very neat.

The power supply is very quiet thanks to the 0 RPM mode and with 1000W it gives enough space for upgrades of my PC in the coming years. It was a bit of a fight with the short 24-pin motherboard cable but I managed to connect it (only a few centimeters margin). For potential buyers: know that you can get extension cables for this if it turns out to be too short. I am very happy with it.
