Description

The Eufy SoloCam S220 Solar is an IP camera for outdoors. This IP camera has a built-in battery and can charge with solar power. This way, it takes longer before you have to charge the battery again. With 3 hours of direct sunlight per day, the camera lasts an extra day on the battery. Without direct sunlight, you need to charge the battery on average every 3 months. The camera records in sharp 2K resolution, so you can zoom in and clearly see faces. The IP camera detects movement and can distinguish between people, animals, and objects. You also get a notification via the app. You can talk to your visitor via this app. Setup is very easy, because the Eufy S220 is wireless. You also don't need a HomeBase to set up the camera.

No worries about an empty battery due to charging in the sun

In addition to good image quality and easy installation, it is very nice that the cameras are charged by the sun. This way you no longer have to charge them yourself. Once they are connected to the internet and the HomePod, there is a very strong connection with which you can keep an eye on your beloved belongings from the other side of Europe or check whether your mother-in-law will come to feed the rabbits during your holiday.

Does what it expects...

  • Solo, means separate from your router, not connected to the home 2 base station
  • Fast charging plus mini panel built in
  • Own storage and shared with home 3. Unfortunately I don't have a Homebase 3 myself...
  • You can register at home 3, but not at home 2

Didn't want another separate camera of the large one I already had in the backyard. This is attached to the veranda and is therefore slightly smaller... installation was a breeze and logging into the account too...
